Why You Need a Home Inspection
What to Expect

A home consists of various materials, systems, and components which should all come together to provide safety, comfort, and protection. Standards have been created and building codes established to ensure that buildings are well built and safe.
Unfortunately age, lack of maintenance, moisture, mother nature, and non compliance with standards have an impact on the quality or health of a home. The home is meant to protect us, but sometimes it can become a home that causes harm. Many of the defects and problems are not easily detected or may go unnoticed without a trained eye and the right tools.
We use the most current technology and tools as needed (moisture detector, infrared instruments, etc.) to insure a quality inspection. Clearview will provide you with a well organized report, which indicate the systems which are faulty, significantly deficient, or unsafe. For single family homes, the report provides the age of the furnace, hot water heater, or air conditioner, along with its average life expectancy.
We share tips about common home maintenance.
After the report is released and delivered, we will orally review the report with you, so that everyone is on the same page.

A typical single family home takes about 3 hours to inspect.
